10/09/05 - (Product News) UMC introduces new technology to enhance and revitalize marginally producing wells
UMC Automation & Compression announces the launch of a new technological advancement utilizing low pressure to enhance and revitalize marginally producting wells.

With natural gas prices topping $13.00 per MCF, many companies are looking for ways to enhance their production and revitalize wells that are nearing the end of their lifespan. Utilizing low pressure gas management and reducing casing pressure hydrocarbons are allowed to enter the wellbore and be produced much more economically.

These low horsepower compression packages can reduce casing pressure to zero or even a negative pressure while compressing the gas and flowing it to the pipeline for sale.

As a result, this application not only allows depleating wells to increase production but helps other wells deal with radical changes in overall pipeline pressure.

UMC while launching this application offers a test unit that can be placed on a location to monitor the results for a specified period of time. This test unit allows the new technology to speak for itself and prove specific results prior to the purchase of the unit.

For more information on this new compression package, please contact UMC Automation & Compression at 432-524-2456.
